Living Hinge Mobile Phone Stand

Technically not a Machine, this quirky little product was developed to showcase just how good our laser cutters are. A 'Living Hinge' is an evolution of a traditional hinge that exists solely through the use of laser cutters. By carefully removing material from a rigid sheet of Medite (our fibreboard of choice) we have built a flexible and compressible structure that folds up to create a novel desktop mobile phone stand. And it is all done without a single moving part. Living Hinges, you've just gotta love 'em!
